Alimentari spa
Founded in 1960 by Emilio Gentilini, and now managed by his sons Bruno and Ivo, Alimentari SpA is a well-established supplier of food and non-food products to the catering industry in Northern Italy. The company currently has about 1,800 customers and carries out 70 thousand deliveries a year. Covering an area of about 30,000sqm, of which 14,000 are devoted to warehouses and offices, Alimentari SpA has been certified to both ISO 9001 and Vision 2000. The company’s success lies in its professional team, who are passionate about their job and aware of belonging to a group aimed at achieving increasingly higher standards.
Its sales network relies on highly-qualified agents, whose expertise and reliability enable them to provide customers with the best advice, and supply them with crucial information on the use and preservation of products.
Product range
Our range of products features about 6,000 items from different lines - fresh and frozen meat, fish, frozen food and vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, tinned food as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. Particular focus is given to the lines of fresh meat and frozen fish. Our suppliers include some of the best-known companies in Italy’s food industry, along with small producers of local food, in particular cheese and cold cuts.
Logistics
Warehousing and stock management are efficiently backed by a data processing centre, which ensures correct date control and product rotation. Distribution is carried out through a fleet of 18 vehicles, all fitted with temperature controlled systems, in accordance with the applicable law.
